The Andon collection overturns the traditional concept of outdoor lighting: it’s an outdoor coffee table with a linear design, the tabletop of which defines the object’s functional value, transforming the frame into an outdoor floor lamp inspired by Japanese-style furniture, to illuminate everything around it, befitting the Japanese tradition of sleeping and sitting on the floor. Conceived as outdoor lighting, in round and square versions, the parchment of this lamp/coffee table is waterproof, as is the black enamelled volcanic rock or white pitchstone tabletop with a tactile Nerosicilia texture. Andon is also available as an outdoor coffee table sans lighting, adding dynamism to the composition by combining more shapes, shades and frames.

Mogura is a pendant lamp that combines the linear style of Japanese designer, Nendo, with the name’s intrinsic meaning: Mogura means Mole, and this pendant or floor lamp stylises the outline of a burrow; similarly, the light fits into that outline within the frame. Almost a birdcage, made of steel painted matte black and available in different sizes, it plays with light and shadows.
